Weddings with a Maple Twist

At Temple’s, maple syrup is a big part of who we are. We are both an operating sugar bush and wedding venue, and maple syrup has been made here for generations. In 2000, the Temple’s family purchased the property and built the beautiful timber frame building to offer couples a fantastic wedding venue in the heart of a maple forest. Everyone deserves a little extra sweetness on their wedding day! Below are four ways Temple’s can help bring a maple twist to your special day.

Unique Wedding Favours

You will be the only one of your friends to have a wedding where maple taffy is the wedding favour! Think of all the unique things you can do with maple that your guests will love. Taffy for dessert, maple-inspired creations during cocktail hour, maple candies or individual bottles of maple syrup as wedding favours. Get creative. We love working with couples to incorporate unique treats that involve maple.

Vibrant Colours

If your special day happens during the fall season, you have the opportunity for an outdoor wedding just when the maple forest at Temple’s explodes in shades of brilliant yellows, fiery reds and rusty oranges. Imagine walking down the aisle in a secluded forest as vibrant leaves drift gently to the ground around you—creating a breathtaking backdrop for your ceremony and unforgettable wedding photos. In spring and summer, say your vows surrounded by the lush greenery of the forest or in our beautifully landscaped garden, alive with colour and life. No matter the season, you can choose the warmth and charm of our timber frame building, offering a cozy, rustic setting for your special moment.

Maple Cuisine

Our signature maple-bourbon chicken or an Atlantic salmon skewer poached in maple syrup. Or how about bacon and smoked cheddar dipped in maple garlic sauce? These are just a few of our delicious dishes that incorporate maple syrup as an ingredient—not to mention all the yummy maple desserts. Maple is the perfect ingredient to make your wedding day that much sweeter.

Be Part of the Tradition

Making maple syrup is a family tradition, and at Temple’s we carry that tradition over to our brides and grooms. When you get married at Temple’s, you become part of the Temple’s Sugar Bush family, welcomed back with open arms year after year after year. In March and April, Temple’s opens its doors as a restaurant specializing in maple-inspired meals, and this is a great chance to come say hello. Come and indulge in everything maple with an old-fashioned sugarbush breakfast experience.
