Our team is the heart of everything we do, and many members have been with us for over 10 years. Our fresh, local menu is a true blend of flavours, crafted by chefs who have honed their skills in the finest kitchens of Eastern Ontario and around the world. The Temple’s TImeline
2007
A Building with History
Before opening the doors to the public in 2007, we constructed our timber frame venue with inspiration from the land itself. After the ice storm of 1998, we stockpiled logs from the clean-up and sawed them into lumber for our flooring. The loft above the fireplace is made of white ash, the front loft above the foyer is beech and the main dining room features maple flooring dotted with tap holes, some dating back to the early 1800s.
2008–2010
Becoming a Destination
In the early years, we quickly became a beloved brunch spot during the maple syrup season in March and April. To this day, guests come to enjoy the fruits of our maple sugar bush every spring. Over time, our venue also grew into a sought-after wedding location, offering a welcoming venue in the heart of the Ottawa Valley. What began as intimate gatherings has now blossomed into a year-round wedding destination, regularly booked with couples seeking a unique and charming setting.

Expanding Our Offering
Today, we’re proud to be one of the Ottawa Valley’s most popular wedding destinations, but we’ve expanded beyond that to host all kinds of events. Whether it’s helping to plan a corporate retreat or designing the menu and cooking up a grilled feast for a family celebration, we look forward to welcoming people at Temple’s for years to come.
